The Kentuckian
The Kentuckian isn't the Kentucky Party's official organ or mouthpiece. It's a force pushing the KYP forward by asking members, officers, and candidates to explain things. If an element of its base isn't organized and mobilized around a policy, we don't want the Kentucky Party to champion it.
What we print
The Kentucky Party's founding base mobilized to stop arming belligerents, end occupation and genocide of Palestinians, and stamp out corruption and waste. These are the bread and butter of reporting and editorials in The Kentuckian.
Red meat issues monopolize political news and discussion, crowding out our bread and butter. We don't want the Kentucky Party to echo Democrat or Republican lines. The Kentuckian will develop independent policy lines, through reporting and editorials, on guns, immigration, abortion, tariffs, and civil rights. On issues intended to be divisive, the two national parties can't establish justice. The Kentucky Party can.
